As you may have read on our website, the trainee programme is our way of investing in young talents who have just graduated from university whilst working towards developing future leaders for the companies in our business portfolio. My role is to recruit these talented people, make sure they end up doing diverse and challenging projects and ensure that they are trained and evaluated in the most professional way before specialising and continuing their career in a specific career track.
Before I started at Broadview Holding, I worked in recruitment in a management consulting firm for more than ten years. What I saw there is the same as I see at Broadview, namely, how important the possibility of maximising development is for starters when selecting the right job. This is something our programme definitely offers. You need to be open to different kinds of projects, and by doing this, you really get to be involved in a breadth of work and develop yourself in the most optimal way. A key difference at Broadview is the unique opportunity you get to work closely with the CEOs and other senior management from day one. This comes with a high level of responsibility but it gives you the chance get the most out of yourself.
The group of trainees becomes more diverse every year. A broad range of nationalities from countries within and outside of Europe is represented. This brings a very nice vibe to the group and creates a great cultural and professional experience.
