The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following aspects and activities:
- Transactional data entries, processing of bank-statements
- Approval process of invoices, preparation of payments
- General ledgers for several in-house entities, including preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of DNB and CBS reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of (consolidated) IFRS and Dutch GAAP financial statements
- Support of the finance team in a broader sense (preparation and reviewing of documentation, assisting the monthly consolidation of balance sheets, income statements and cash-flow as well as reviewing accuracy of TM1 uploads from subsidiaries)
To be considered for this role you possess a Bachelor degree in Accountancy or Business Administration, in combination with three to five years of experience in a similar role in a highly professional, preferably international setting. You are fluent in both English and Dutch and have strong Excel skills, knowledge of journal entries and experience with Exact Globe or a similar software. Experience with IBM TM1 (Cognos) and with preparation of VAT declarations is an advantage.
